                                              “…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”  ~ Isaiah 40:29-31

What we offer...

HOPE offers a variety of services to help families in their home schooling journey. parents, acting as faculty members, are responsible for the day-to-day education of their children.  However, Hope provides additional activities and support, including record keeping to PSP members, to help families achieve their educational goals.

Private Satellite Program (PSP) - Our PSP offers record keeping and transcript services, support, guidance and accountability to conservative evangelical Christian parents who desire to teach their children to live by Biblical principles, pursue excellence in academics, develop character with Christ as the example, practice responsible life skills and stewardship, and exhibit good role model behavior.  Along with record keeping accountability and support, membership  includes everything the Affiliate program offers. These members are listed on our private school affidavit through the California Department of Education.   Each fall we renew our Private School Affidavit with the California Department of Education on behalf of all members.  Record keeping (report cards, etc.) has been streamlined for this coming year, and will be input and submitted online.  Did I hear an "Amen!"?

Care Group - Each family is placed in a Care Group with a leader who is a home schooling mom with a heart to mentor other moms at Hope.  The Care Group members sit together at the three Faculty Fellowships for accountability, encouragement, and prayer.

Newsletter - E-Newsletters (and/or emails) list academy events, legal updates, educational opportunities, encouraging articles, and the latest news of interest to home educators.

Achievement Testing - Parents may choose from a variety of testing and evaluating options to measure their student’s progress.  One way to meet this requirement is through the Stanford Achievement Test 10 that is offered at HOPE.  Other options are available including an IEP for student's with learning challenges or special needs.  Norm-referenced evaluations in reading, spelling and arithmetic are required for all enrolled PSP students. Testing is optional to Affiliate members, although available through Hope.

Orientations - All first-year members must attend a New Member Orientation to familiarize them with the polices, procedures, and record keeping.  All parents of students earning high school credit also attend the high school parent orientation.
